Analyze/ How do we behave towards those we love? You only have to see how parents are ready to do everything possible to ensure their offspring a quality future to realize that depending on the means available we do not hesitate to give our children the best so that they can flourish. This same attention is what pets need. If you have one, or if you decide to have one or more, they deserve to live with dignity because even if they are animals, they are also, like us, beings who have sensitivity, and who deserve that we grant them the same seriousness that we are always or almost ready to grant to our closest peers, that is to say, human beings.

In Africa generally, although there is a change in mentality over time, the importance of a pet like a cat or a dog for example is reduced just for carrying out certain tasks. Anyone who has mice or rats in their house or living space buys a cat, and anyone who wants to prevent and combat bad intrusions into their security perimeter buys a guard dog. If these are necessities that are sometimes necessary, it should still be noted that making the choice to have them also involves a cost because they have the same needs as all human beings. They must be clean, properly fed and not be treated like second-hand objects for whom we only reserve the remains of sometimes contaminated food which will cause them to catch certain diseases. We don't worry much about it because they are dogs or even lesser animals, while living in the same environment as us, they need the same medical health assistance, and other well-being experiences we are ready to give to others.

Western societies are very advanced particularly in the care of dogs and cats but also of all other pets; among others we have: reptiles, birds, etc. They taught us that there is dog food and that if human beings eat poorly and cause their pets to eat even worse, that is to say, by saving them the remains of their poor diets, these living beings should not eat just anything; hence the importance of veterinary medicine. If there are generalists and specialists in human beings, there are also specialists in pet health and even in defending their rights. Anyone who is in the habit of mistreating dogs in Africa should not expect to be allowed to act in this way in Europe for example. Jobs have developed over time because we are not content to limit the importance of domestic animals to carrying out certain tasks. If we go to the doctor very often, they must go there too. If we are in the habit of getting information from nutritionists about our own diet, we must also find out about the recommended diet for them and not just give them anything because they are dogs and We tend to use this term to describe individuals and other immoral acts when there are words to properly name them. If we get vaccinated, they must also receive their dose of vaccine on an ongoing basis.

But unfortunately in Africa domestic animals are victims of the deplorable conditions in which they live and the mentality of the living beings around them. If we are more concerned about helping a lost child find his way because he is a human being, we are not always ready to do the same for a dog or a cat because he is an animal. While in other places, we are not content only to take care of refugees and homeless humans namely: giving them food, clothing them and giving them the right to health care, but we do it also for living animal beings by even asking for help to get certain animals off the street so that they can live with dignity. If elsewhere we recognize that dogs have rights and duties and that we can further broaden the spectrum of their usefulness because they are capable of a lot, for others on the other hand they are animals which only have duties. This is the reason why everywhere in the world we are not only violating the rights of Mens, but even more violating the rights of dogs and even cats just to limit ourselves to these two examples. According to a specialist, “the dignity of animals does not relate to their appearance, but to what lives inside these living beings." in other words, they do not have values only for us but also for them. They have their own value because they can live their lives, experience their environment on their own, seek out what they like and avoid what they dislike.

What Men is ready to do for himself he must also be ready to do it for his domestic animals. Choosing to have it means giving yourself the means to take care of it properly. If we are threatened by parasites, they are just as threatened; if we need to eat properly, they also need it; if we do not like to be mistreated, they also do not like to be mistreated but to be treated with dignity even if they are animals that some of us treat with great contempt even though they are not responsible for the slump of a society plagued by immoral acts which threaten the mental health of pets as well as that of people.
