Médecine de qualité: entre charlatanisme et imposture, une cure et un discernement s'imposent

Greed stops at nothing when it comes to satisfying its selfishness. When we only care about our financial health, all means are good and the life of the other does not matter. He is just a customer who allows us to have what we need and not a patient to whom we must give the best of ourselves.

Like many business sectors, the health sector is one of the most coveted by charlatans and imposters. If some justify this situation by taking the pretext of a scandalous economic situation, we must not fail to specify that the art of the false, the love of the false and the culture of the false in our strongly secularized societies is a gangrene which does not only affect poor countries.

What is quality medicine?

Quality medicine is a service that requires a set of specific knowledge and skills in order to solve health problems. It is a discipline that reinvents itself on a daily basis in order to provide the best possible care, thanks to research in both traditional and conventional fields. It is a social and spiritual action that contributes to the well-being of people and to the change of mentalities. Minds need to be made aware, trained or seasoned so as not to be fooled by charlatans and impostors. They need quality information as a preventive measure to get out of their ignorance. They have to be evangelized in some way. In fact, the slope between medicine and evangelism as with many other serious fields of activity is so steep that we take the liberty of saying that a medical professional is in some way an evangelist. We specify that by evangelization in this particular context we are talking about any expertise or experience contributing to the reduction of the prevalence rate of a disease or any other public health problem.

How to curb Impostures and charlatanism?

It is because the health sector is one of the sectors most solicited by men that ill-intentioned individuals choose to pretend to be what they are not just to make money. . But the evil is deeper than that. An individual accustomed to cheating or initiated into such a practice can only perpetrate it. Bad basic education or bad morals acquired over time can only produce confirmed charlatans and imposters, which constitute public safety problems. Educators should place more emphasis on social correctness. Real doctors must stop must stop doing acts that do not honour their profession and fuel the proliferation of fakes. They must, for example, stop buying medicines from unauthorized sales outlets. Finally, people must denounce crimes and avoid giving credit to anything that seems suspicious to them or that has not yet proven itself in practice.
