The sovereignty of States under the influences of major economic, military and technological powers

The ease with which one country can afford to enter another to take and do what it wants makes us wonder about the true meaning of state sovereignty. Can we still speak of autonomy or independence when certain influential States can give themselves the pleasure of overriding the standards of international sovereignty to satisfy their interests?

the current situation of the world entangled in special operations, parades of intimidation, diplomatic blackmail and other pressures on the economic level make it possible to better understand and make the differences between the notions of great powers and superpowers which are those which have all the rights and the others that is to say, the States of lesser conditions or importances still called poor or developing countries which have rights conditioned by the points of view of the superpowers.

The impotence of poor countries in the face of the dictates of the superpowers

The influence of the big powers on those of less importance is so great that when the big powers are in conflict, the small ones find themselves obliged to withdraw into their shell so as not to pay the price of a special operation which does not concern them. In fact, when the sovereignty of a State is threatened, all States must feel concerned. But when you represent almost nothing in the business world, you can only abstain to protect or guarantee your interests. We should therefore not blame developing countries when they refrain from taking a position in a conflict. These are human reactions that are completely understandable. Rather, we must be indignant at the fact that they belong to a devious system filled with hypocrisy and self-centeredness that holds them in its hands.

Conflict resolution around the world

The bipolarization of the world, or rather the fact that there are emerging countries on one side and less advanced ones on the other, limits the capacities of developing countries. A small state or a very small community cannot settle a conflict between several superpowers, much less give itself the luxury of having a bias. We take one example among many others: When developing countries go through what we prefer to call moments of internal turmoil, it is the superpowers that order them to put an end to these situations immediately. A State or a community of less importance has never ordered a super-power to stop its operations in a very specific space, not for lack of will but because of an inferior status compared to the great powers. Even if the way of these small powers is required in the concert of nations, it is always the consequence of a war of hegemony which does not say its name. This is, in our opinion, the reason why some States choose to put a bilateral or multilateral relationship on hold, in order to regain sovereignty.

This world is in the hands of those who are powerful or very advanced in all fields and in particular military, technological and economic. The others are just low-level collaborators whose stability depends on those superpowers that hold the world in their hands.
